Mission Statement
The specific purpose of the Youth For Parker is to provide educational opportunities, public service opportunities, and safe and inexpensive activities for students from grades 6-12 for young citizens in the greater Parker area.
Youth for Parker is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, literary, and scientific purposes, including for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or the corresponding provisions of any future United States Internal Revenue Law), as well as any lawful purpose, as authorized by state law.
Members of Youth For Parker
Youth Members: A Youth Member of the corporation is a full-time student in any education program located within the Town of Parker or the immediate surrounding areas within the boundaries of Douglas County, Colorado.
Honorary Members: Honorary Members are community leaders from the fields of education, communication, business, legal, technology, and civic organizations as well as members with special contributions to the Youth For Parker. Their nominations should be through the Youth For Parker Board of Directors and approved by the Board.
Professional Members: A Professional Member of the corporation is a member with a degree in higher education and/or professional background and experience.
Business/Corporate Members: Business/Corporate members are business owners whose business employs professionals in various fields.
